Rocester Football Club is pleased to announce that a major new sponsorship deal has been struck with Ashbourne-based mechanical engineering company Hill & Webster Ltd.
Hill & Webster were joint sponsors of the first team shirts last season but the new agreement, which is worth £6,500 to the club, will see the company become our main sponsor for the first time.
Chairman Dave Price is delighted with the package, saying; "It's the biggest sponsorship we have ever had, and it means that we can prepare for the new season in the knowledge that we are financially secure."
"Once the new kit is purchased the rest of the money will go towards the team, while any funds raised through the social club will meet our other running costs."
"I'm chuffed to bits with the sponsorship deal, and it's even better knowing that someone from Rocester who is a real supporter of the club is behind it."
Commenting on former sponsors M.J. Barrett Group, Price said; "We would like to place on record our thanks to Malcolm Barrett for his backing in the past. He has supported the club for many years, years when we haven't had much success on the field and we are grateful for that. However, it was a business decision that we had to make in view of the amount of money offered by Hill and Webster."
Phil Webster, Managing Director of Hill & Webster, who has regularly attended our matches as a supporter for a number of years, said; "It's nice to be able to support the club after the hard times they have had in the past. It's a great little club and I'm really happy to be able to help out, especially as I'm a local lad."
