Kyle
Wadsworth (D.O.B. August 1987)
As a striker
Kyle was a regular goalscorer for his previous clubs Belper United and South
Normanton Athletic, but after joining the Romans in October 2014 he
adapted successfully into a reliable Right-Back. He remained a useful asset
going forward however, and often popped up in the final third to deliver a
telling cross or free kick. Made 75 appearances before leaving at the end of
the 2015-16 campaign to go travelling.

Central
defender
who was signed by then Manager Mark Kavanagh in October 2013 from Sunday

Nick Ward
(D.O.B. December 1985)
'Wardy' made
his Rocester debut in August 2006, and after several spells with the club
during the next decade he made a total of 129 appearances and scored 31
goals. A quality player who had the ability to play
anywhere down the spine of the team with great effect, including in goal.
His other clubs included Leek Town, Kidsgrove Athletic and Hanley Town.

Sam
Wain (D.O.B. October
1990)
Talented
youngster who played
a quiet but effective
role in the centre of midfield or
defence.
Sam represented the Staffordshire F.A. at School and Youth level, then after
playing youth and reserve team football for Stafford Rangers he joined
Rocester in February 2010,
but after a lengthy
injury lay-off he failed to return to regular football. Made 61
appearances and scored two goals for the Romans.

Dean Watkiss (D.O.B.
September 1983)
Diminutive striker who scored
two goals in his twenty appearances during the 2009-10 season in the Midland

Joshua Williams
(D.O.B. January 1991)
Striker who joined Rocester in October 2014 as one of Mark Wilson's first signings. The
former Highfield Rangers and Stapenhill man had an impressive goalscoring record in the Leicestershire Senior league and
his strength and pace made
him a dangerous opponent, however he never really reached his potential at
Hillsfield and after scoring just 7 goals in 41 appearances he moved to
Ashby Ivanhoe.

Mark Wilson (Manager)

a struggling team in September
2014 and quickly turned fortunes around with the team finishing 12th in the
MFL Premier Division and reaching the League Cup Final. He resigned in
January 2016, but his 16 months in charge can only be regarded as a great
success. A goalkeeper
in his playing days, as a manager he enjoyed five successful years in charge of Borrowash
Victoria before leading South Normanton Athletic to
promotion
in his first and only season with them.

Matt Walker (D.O.B. September
