Martin Gadsby (D.O.B. February 1984)

A creative midfielder who was on Derby County's books as a youngster. Martin came through the reserves at Rocester to cement his place in the first team, and played a big part in the 2008 Staffordshire Senior Cup win. Captained the team throughout 2008-09. Made 128 appearances and scored 7 goals before leaving in July 2009.

Joined prior to the 2011-12 season but made just three substitute appearances for the club before moving on.

Sam Griffiths (D.O.B. August 1988)

Joined from South Normanton Athletic in November 2014. Sam played most of his previous football as a striker but settled into a central midfield role for the Romans. A hard-working and committed player, his previous clubs included Mickleover Royals, Mickleover Sports and Borrowash Victoria. He left Rocester during 2016-17 after making 59 appearances, and began 2017-18 with Holbrook Sports under the management of Mark Wilson, who signed him for Rocester.
