Lee Bagley (D.O.B. April 1984)

Striker who came through the reserve team set-up. A prolific goal-scorer in Sunday football and at reserve level, Lee's first team career was hampered by injuries and he never fulfilled his true potential. After making his senior debut during the 2004-05 season he left the club in December 2008 having scored 18 goals in 70 appearances.

Alf Blood

Alf was a no-nonsense defender who certainly let forwards know they had been in a game. After his playing days had ended he became Manager of the first team for a while, and later he managed the reserve team.

George Barlow (D.O.B. February 1988)

Midfielder signed from Alsager Town in February 2014, George had the ability to pick a pass and his great attitude and hard-working approach set him apart. Made 24 appearances and scored one goal before leaving the club in September 2014 soon after the arrival of Mark Wilson as Manager.

George Blood

A midfield general who was not afraid to mix it if needed!

Kevin Barry

A wonderfully gifted footballer (and cricketer) who should surely have played at a higher level. A classy centre-half who would have walked into any Rocester team ever, he was Alan Beaman's captain during the highly-successful period between 1985 and 1992. A mean penalty-taker to boot, netting almost all of his 50 goals for the club from the spot. Always led by example and never made an enemy on the field because he was a true gentleman.

Steve Blood

A defender aptly named - Steve could draw it from the opposing strikers with his no-nonsense tackling! A highly -competitive full-back who could always be relied upon, Steve knew his strengths and played to them

Alan Beaman (D.O.B. )

A Rocester defender for a number of years during the 1970s and 80s. A fine tackler who could distribute the ball superbly. Alan went on to enjoy a highly successful spell as manager between 1984 and 1992, leading the club to three successive league titles, three cup wins, and a record-breaking F.A. Vase run. After sixteen years away from the club, he made a surprise comeback to the managers' job in October 2008, but resigned 14 months later.

  Jim Bloor

Gary Beardsley (D.O.B. January 1986)

Gifted midfield player signed from Sunday football in October 2007. Gary, known as 'Dodger', spent eight years on Stoke City's books before playing for Burton Albion's youth team for a season. Made 26 appearances and scored five goals for the Romans, but decided to leave the club a year after joining.

  Jack Braddow

Tom Beaumont (D.O.B. November 1996)

An attacking midfielder who played for Rocester Juniors before joining the Reserve team set-up in 2014. He found the net regularly for the second string in the Midlands Regional Alliance but was rewarded with just four first team appearances during the 2014-15 season.

Once on the fringes of the England Schoolboys squad, he represented Staffordshire at U-18 level before playing Conference football for Northwich Vics. Also played for Leek Town and Hyde United. He captained the side during the 2014-15 season and scored an impressive 45 goals in 72 appearances for the club before moving to Alsager Town in January 2015. With great control and movement off the ball Dan was a constant threat in and around the penalty area. Other previous clubs included Stone Dominoes and Norton United.

Steve Bennett (D.O.B. November 1985)

Striker or right-midfielder who came through the youth set-up at Stone Dominoes before breaking into the first team. He spent three seasons with Brocton where he picked up a Staffs F.A. Vase Runners-Up medal in 2008. David Brown (D.O.B. December 1978)

Central defender signed from Leek C.S.O.B. in August 2006. A fine striker of the ball, David was once short-listed for the Player of the Round award by an F.A. panel after scoring a cracking winner against Leamington in an F.A. Cup tie. He was part of the Staffordshire Senior Cup winning team in 2008 but left soon afterwards with 3 goals and 81 appearances to his name.

David Bevans

A very quick winger who could produce perfect crosses running at speed. Dave provided the crosses for two of Rocester's three goals when they memorably beat Halesowen Town 3-1 in the F.A. Vase 5th Round in 1987.

Full back who was a reserve team regular between 2002 and 2008. 'Bully' helped the reserves win two successive promotions in the Staffordshire County League between 2003 and 2005.

Jon Birch

A real handful in and around the penalty area, 'Birchy' could produce a few tricks and scored more than his fair share of goals. Signed from Stafford Town in the summer of 1987, he enjoyed a highly successful season helping the Romans win three trophies before succumbing to a knee injury in the final weeks of the 1987-88 season.

Bernard 'Ranjee' Bullock

'Ranjee' was a tremendous defender and a great character on and off the field.

Connor Bird (D.O.B. July 1992)

Striker who spent four years with Norwich City as a junior. Connor joined the Romans in July 2010 after playing much of the previous season with Penkridge Town in the West Midlands League, but moved on after making just 9 appearances for the Romans.
